My official role is as a Programme Manager for QAP (QUBIT APPLICATIONS), an EC funded research programme with 35 European and non-European partners and a budget of €10M and I hold the contractual responsibility for the consortium’s dealings with the European Commission, advising partners on EC policies, keeping overview of project finances and budgets for the consortium ensuring accurate financial reporting, financial planning and forecasting. I coordinate and manage the production and consolidation of project plans, progress and milestone reports, finding optimal ways of budget management and spend across the consortium. 

I am responsible for the project’s dissemination activities, which means  ensuring consistent strategic communications across the consortium, managing internal and public websites and project related road shows and exhibitions. I manage events at different locations in Europe, and our exhibits at key EC FET events. I facilitate the innovation and technology strand of the high-profile project.

I am is involved in dealing with conflict, risk and issue management of all Sub-Projects, particularly work arising from interdependencies between Sub-Projects and responsible for production and consolidation of project plans, progress and milestone reports and project's management reports for the funding body.

I joined the Clarendon Lab in 2005 and have also been responsible for project management of some other National, European and American projects.

A bit of Biography: I have been a national science talent scholar; and received my PhD in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, MBA from Birmingham University and have recently gained accreditation in profession project management PRINCE 2.

In Delhi I led an industrial initiative in collaboration with local and European laboratories. I have worked in several laboratories in Europe researching in Physics and Biophysics. As Intranet Manager for a global charity with over 2000 employees across the world, I led an ICT e-inclusion initiative to link up remote areas.

I love a good mountain climb, a warm dip in the sea and building sand castles together with my daughter.
